iHeadache Web is currently under development. It will bring together a combination of features for patients, physicians, and researchers.

Patient Benefits

iHeadache Web™ is an online headache diary that will have all of the real-time headache tracking features that iHeadache has on the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Blackberry. This will allow anyone with headaches to keep a comprehensive electronic headache diary.  Current iHeadache users will be able to seemlessly sync the headache data on their mobile device with the online portal.  iHeadache Web™ will also have new features including tracking headache preventatives and medical interventions. 

Physician Benefits

iHeadache MD™ is a tool that works with iHeadahe Web™ and will add an entirely new dynamic to a physician's practice. The patient will enter their data and the physician will have the ability to receive the history portion of progress notes before each visit. The summary of headache data will be correlated with headache preventative therapies.  This allows physicians to quickly determine if patients are responding adequately to changes in therapy. Physicians will also be able to analyze their practice and get quality data such as:

• How patients as a group do in your practice at various time intervals.
• How prior failed therapies and diagnosis affect prognosis from your own database of patients.
• How your patient's outcomes compare to your peers.

For example, if a new patient to your practice had chronic daily headache, could you tell them what percentage of the time they can expect to have less than 15 "headache days" in month two of therapy, month three, etc.?  With iHeadache MD™ physicians will be able to look at overall practice metrics about treatment failures, prognosis and overall quality of life of their patients.  Read more about the quality measures and metrics that will be available. 

Once the elelctronic medical record  (EMR) interface guidelines are standardized we intend to support EMR integration with iHeadache MD™ . 

Research Benefits

We expect to have the largest real-world patient experience database ever collected. We will follow these patients for years and have data that can be analyzed to determine trends, alternative treatments and other metrics.
